See a live demonstration of the digital thread in action: from requirements through functional design to the Product Model, including visualizing engineering change management (ECM). This demonstration addresses the challenge of visualizing the digital thread across systems, empowering stakeholders to follow the live thread and anticipate the impact of modifications throughout the project lifecycle. We’ll explore the dynamic workflow that enables functional designs in ShipbuildingPLM to be pushed to ShipConstructor, and demonstrate the bidirectional flow of information back to ShipbuildingPLM as modeled parts, aligning with the functional design. Attendees will gain insights into the workflow that unifies departments, with Engineering, Design, Planning, and Production gaining clarity on interconnected processes and understanding the impact of changes in all directions.
